Harlesdon Baptist Youth Club (Brent) – educational tour of Holland for 10 young people vulnerable to gun crime to learn about the dangers of drug abuse

Essence Counselling and Training Enterprise (Brent) - provide anger management workshops to parents of those at risk of gun crime.

Brent Women's Advisory Centre (Brent) - provide workshops on conflict resolution and peer pressure to young offenders and economically disadvantaged young people.

PMDA (Brent) – mobile educational music workshop for hard to reach young people

Band Edutainment (Brent) – youth training in music and radio production, workshop on gun crime awareness, production of adverts and programmes to be broadcast on Life FM.

Croydon Supplementary Educational Project (Croydon) – class-room based workshops for young people, discussion groups with police on crime

Fierce Productions (Lambeth) - train identified members of Brixton Topcats Basketball Club, at risk of gang involvement in film-making skills

Kros Culture (Enfield) - reach young people with a strong anti-gun crime message through music.

Lewisham Community Development Partnerships (Catford) - train young people in film-making

Pupil Parent Partnership Ltd (Ealing) – recruit, train and supervise 20 mentors to support young people at risk of gun crime, drugs misuse and violence.

Sound Vision Trust (Hackney) – broadcast presented by young people on local community radio station about gun crime and gangster culture.

Halkevi – Kurdish and Turkish Community Centre (Hackney) – set up support group for Kurdish/Turkish/Cypriot victims of gun crime and families

Concorde Centre for Young People (Hackney) - provide diversionary activities to groups involved in gang culture, gun and knife crime; help them secure college and work placements.

Impact (Hammersmith) – one day youth consultation and awareness event including interactive workshops on causes and consequences of gun and knife crime.

Great Lakes Initiatives and Support Project (Haringey) – mentor young people at risk of involvement in gun crime and drugs particularly from African refugee community.

Youth Retreat Project (Haringey) – train young people at risk to become Peace and Justice Cadets to deliver anti-gun workshops to their peers.

Royals Youth Centre (Havering) – engage with young people at risk through creation of anti-gun and drug music CD

St Mary’s Youth Club (Islington) – organise peer-mentoring schemes, sport training and drama skills for young people involved with gangs in Islington.

CBM International (Lambeth) – anti-violence road-show ‘Don’t Shoot’ in schools and youth institutions across London.

Keep the Dream Alive ( Lambeth) – letter writing scheme where BME business owners write to young black men to act as positive role models.

Straight Aims (Lambeth) – generate diversionary activities such as sport competitions, talent contests, music workshops, run by ex-gun man.

Trident Independent Advisory Group (IAG) (Lambeth) – intensive residential weekend for 10 young people providing mentoring and placement opportunities.

Lambeth Independent Advisory Group (Lambeth) – establish an on-going self-sustaining mentoring programme for 16-21 year olds.

Youth Offenders (Lewisham) – provide support to 16 -24 year olds released from young offenders institutes

Street Vibes Youth (Lewisham) - provide music diversionary activities, education and mentoring for young people in PRUs and YOIs

Community Links (Newham) – develop mentoring, training, education and employment initiatives for at risk young people.

Youth Education Support Services (Southwark) – mentoring scheme for 30 young people at risk with Microsoft employees to learn new skill and meet positive role models.

Living in Harmony (Southwark) – one to one mentoring programme for young black men at risk of exclusion.

Stockwell Green Youth Project (Southwark) - engage disaffected Muslim youths by learning dangers of guns and gangs and organising diversionary activities.

Heartbeat International Missions (Southwark) – self development training, mentoring and diversionary activities in Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth and Bromley. Includes parenting workshops addressing issues of violent crime.

Docklands Outreach (Tower Hamlets) - targets those involved in crime, anti-social behaviour, drug and alcohol misuse through outreach street-work leading to two diversionary activities (motorbike and car projects)

The Sub-Saharan Agenda (Tessa) (Tower Hamlets) – produce magazine with anti-gun crime focus working with ex-offenders and gang members

Da’watul Islam UK and EIRE (Tower Hamlets) – organise workshops, diversionary activities and mentoring for at risk young people and their parents.

Genesis Childcare Consultancy (Waltham Forest) – youth club providing sports, arts and crafts, discussions and mentoring.

Saltley and Washwood Heath Practical Care Project (Birmingham) – Diversionary activities and events for disaffected young people.

South Aston Community Association (Birmingham) – help young people exit gangs through activities, training and mentoring.

Nu Century Arts (Birmingham) – perform a play on gun crime partially written by young people, particularly from black minority ethnics.

Open Door Youth Counselling Service (Birmingham) – provide counselling and support for young people and families affected by gun crime

A Sporting Chance (Birmingham) – engage 80 young people through expeditions to Wales

Community Welfare Trust (CWT) (Birmingham) – encourage young people from Kashmiri and Pakistani communities go into business rather than join gangs

Islamic Learning Centre (ILC) (Birmingham) – encourage young people from black minority ethnics communities go into business rather than join gangs

Rage (Birmingham) – brings together young people from different cultural backgrounds through drama, exploring gang culture

Action to Regenerate Community Trust (Wolverhampton) - diversionary activities, projects and outreach work for young black men at risk.

Everton Development Trust (Liverpool) – production of a music CD with an anti-gun crime message involving young people in production and promotion

Breckfield and North Everton Neighbourhood Council (Liverpool) - diversionary activities, sports and workshops on gun crime

Penny Lane Development Trust (Liverpool) – residential trip to London addressing issues of gun crime.

Vauxhaull Music Project (Liverpool) – provide conflict resolution training, diversionary activities to 10 young men from two rival gangs.

BOLT (Manchester) –offer short apprenticeships in professional trades to 6 young men aged 16-19 known to be involved in gangs.

Unity in the community (Manchester) – training for management committee and volunteers on mentoring, counselling, youth work.

Whally Range Youth Opportunities Association (Manchester) – support young people into education and employment

HBHG Development Trust (Manchester) – train local parents and community volunteers on gun crime issues

Support 4 Progress (Manchester) – Deliver group counselling and support sessions to young people at risk of becoming gang members.

Chase Action Group (Nottingham) – Run design and fashion workshops as part of inclusion project for 16-20 year olds in St Anne’s.

Urban Angel (Nottingham) – provide training, arts workshops and support into further education for 12 at risk young people aged 16-25

Voluntary Organisations Support for Effective Management (Nottingham) – series of workshops to train young people, particularly from African Caribbean backgrounds to write lyrics on gun crime and produce a CD.

Southwell Diocesian Council for Family (Family Care) (Nottingham) – provide counselling support/ long term stress counselling to young people affected by gun crime.

Common Unity ICT (Nottingham) – Training for 5 volunteers to become mentors with the aim of diffusing tensions between two rival gangs.
